Program Description

Decatur Strength x Conditioning Teens Program is composed of elements designed to reduce Exercise Deficit Disorder and poor lifestyle choices: laying foundational movement patterns, providing children with a portion of their prescribed amount of exercise for the week, improving muscular fitness, engineering endless opportunities for success, and discussing roles for food—all while keeping the class and its information fun and engaging kids (6,7,8,9). As an infinitely scalable program Decatur Strength x Conditioning Kids can also bring the benefits of physical activity to disadvantaged populations of pre-teens (10,11,12), Teens (13-18)

Our program focuses on establishing core movement patterns essential for developing strength and coordination, tailored for kids and teens (ages 6-18), ensuring a solid base for physical growth and preventing Exercise Deficit Disorder
We provide a structured portion of the recommended weekly exercise for children, integrating fun and engaging workouts that promote muscular fitness and healthy lifestyle choices
By creating a variety of success opportunities, our program boosts confidence and instills a sense of achievement, making fitness a positive aspect of daily life for both younger kids and teens
Our classes include interactive discussions on the importance of nutrition, making healthy eating an integral part of our fitness journey. Plus, the program's scalability allows us to extend these benefits to disadvantaged pre-teens and teens, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in physical activity
