"Trainers and members have always been fun and welcoming"

I have been doing “crossfit” for over 12 years now. I’d decided when I was about to turn
40 that I would turn my attention to living a healthier much more active lifestyle. As an owner of bars and restaurants, it was really easy to eat and drink like crap and “get around” to fixing my lifestyle at a later point. 40 was that point and am so incredibly grateful that I found Eric’s gym.
The trainers and members have always been fun and welcoming with a very healthy balance between being competitive but not too competitive where one might get injured.
I very much like that it is always very challenging every day but modifying and being smart about each members abilities are always considered when prescribing workouts.
Since joining, I’ve managed to hold gym records in several workouts, have run in many trail races, competed in tough mudders, Ragnar relays, 5 and 10k races and so on and so on. Needless to say, none of that would have been possible without the diversity of training which makes you a very well rounded and well conditioned athlete here.
Advice for potential new members? Join! You won’t find a nicer more accepting group of members and staff. You get out what you put in and there is NEVER a sense of judgement EVER. I know it can seem intimidating but I can safely say, if you want to change your lifestyle and make the changes you want in your life, you will not find a better and more accepting place to do so. It’s worth it!!
